description El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la influencia de un sistema de inventario en el control de mermas para la empresa Top Market E.I.R.L de Trujillo, 2018. En la investigación, se ejecutó un análisis actual de la empresa para ver su funcionamiento, asimismo, se utilizó el análisis ABC y el lote económico de pedido, que permitió determinar las líneas de producto para poder clasificarlas respectivamente y las cantidades necesarias de pedido que se deben realizar para cada línea de producto. Es así que, al aplicar el análisis ABC en los dos inventarios (pre - post) se realizó una comparación, donde se obtuvo como resultado que si se reducen los costos de las mermas en un 65.17%, lo cual demostró que si se debe realizar el sistema de inventario. Por último, mediante el análisis financiero se confirmó que la investigación si es factible, por los resultados obtenidos del valor actual neto proyectado a 3 años de S/. 15 214,01 nuevos soles, tasa interna de retorno de 55, 51%, evidenciando que la relación costo beneficio es de 1.13, lo cual indicó que los beneficios serán 13 veces mayor a los costos.

In the investigation, a current analysis of the company was carried out to see how it works, as well as The ABC Analysis and the Order Economic Lot were used to determine the product lines to be classified respectively and the necessary quantities of the order that must be made for each product line. Thus, when applying the ABC analysis in the two inventories (pre - post), a comparison was made, where the result was that the costs of shrinkage were reduced by 65.17%, which showed that the inventory system must be carried out.
