Los resultados muestran una ambigüedad en las actitudes de los docentes. Si bien existe una aversión hacia el uso de términos homofóbicos, también se evidencia una resistencia a aceptar plenamente la diversidad sexual. Las dificultades enfrentadas por los docentes incluyen la falta de capacitación específica en diversidad sexual y la presión social y parental para evitar estos temas en el aula. El estudio identifica cinco categorías principales de resultados, que van desde la percepción y el rechazo de términos homofóbicos hasta las acciones formativas para la prevención de la homofobia y la promoción de la ESI. Se destaca la necesidad de proporcionar formación docente efectiva y continua, así como de integrar la ESI de manera integral en el currículo escolar para fomentar relaciones saludables y promover el respeto hacia la diversidad sexual.

Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, the personal experiences of teachers in educational institutions in Lima regarding these topics are explored. The results show ambiguity in teachers' attitudes. While there is an aversion to the use of homophobic terms, there is also evidence of resistance to fully accepting sexual diversity. Difficulties faced by teachers include a lack of specific training in sexual diversity and social and parental pressure to avoid these topics in the classroom. The study identifies five main categories of results, ranging from the perception and rejection of homophobic terms to training actions for the prevention of homophobia and the promotion of CSE.
