La vulnerabilidad de la zona por los riesgos naturales es muy alta. En la actualidad las nuevas poblaciones en proceso de urbanización siguen asentándose en zonas vulnerables, sin tomar las precauciones necesarias para que no vuelva a ocurrir una catástrofe como la del 70’. La presente investigación propone realizar un Museo Memorial, crear un espacio de rememoración, reflexión y reconciliación con el objetivo de generar y educar una cultura de prevención a las nuevas comunidades que están en proceso de crecimiento urbanístico. Con la finalidad de evitar y mitigar estos riesgos naturales que en la actualidad siguen produciéndose y afectando directamente a las comunidades.

La presente investigación propone realizar un Museo Memorial, crear un espacio de rememoración, reflexión y reconciliación con el objetivo de generar y educar una cultura de prevención a las nuevas comunidades que están en proceso de crecimiento urbanístico. Con la finalidad de evitar y mitigar estos riesgos naturales que en la actualidad siguen produciéndose y afectando directamente a las comunidades.The flood that occurred in the ancient city of Yungay in 1970, or better known as the catastrophe of 70 ', has left a scar in national history, claiming thousands of human lives, more than 300 children in orphanhood and the entire city underground. The vulnerability of the area due to natural risks is very high, today at present the new populations in the process of urbanization continue to settle in vulnerable areas, so that a catastrophe such as that of the 1970s could occur again. The present investigation proposes to carry out a Memorial Museum, create a space for remembrance, reflection and reconciliation with the aim of generating and educating a culture of prevention in new communities that are in the process of urban growth.
