La Biblioteca Pública en Comas, reúne este nuevo concepto para satisfacer las necesidades a largo alcance y diversificar las actividades en su interior, en conexión con el entorno que la rodea. El partido arquitectónico del proyecto, nace del análisis de los criterios de accesibilidad, topografía, contexto y temas ambientales del emplazamiento. Existe una intención clara de unificar el espacio público con el interior del proyecto, mediante el concepto arquitectónico del espacio intermedio, sin perjudicar el funcionamiento de las actividades que se dan dentro de esta. En cuanto a la parte funcional, el programa se organiza siguiendo un criterio de transición de lo público a lo privado, respetando siempre las circulaciones diferenciadas del público y servicio. La Biblioteca Pública en Comas finalmente se resume como un proyecto detonador de cultura, conocimiento y recreación para el distrito de Comas.

Thus, its functional programming has become broader and more diverse than it used to be. The public library in Comas includes this new concept in order to satisfy the long-term needs and diversify the activities according to the changing society. The architectonic concept of the project raises from the analysis of the criteria of availability, topography, context and environmental topics of the location. There is a clear intention to unify the public space with the inner area through the intermediate space vision without the interruption of the activities inside this area. Regarding the functional part, the agenda is organized according to a transition criterion from public to private, always following their respective transit.
