description Mediante este artículo se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura (RSL) de la metodología Kanban para mejorar el reabastecimiento de productos en una tienda Retail, para optimizar los inventarios y la cadena de suministros. Este trabajo se realizó con datos recopilados en diferentes artículos científicos relacionados a empresas minoristas; específicamente en tiendas departamentales; referentes al tema, los cuales están disponibles en bases bibliográficas de revistas científicas. Se hallaron 125 artículos en Scopus, de los cuales 20 cumplieron en mayor porcentaje con las necesidades de nuestra investigación, para ello se delimitaron según los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, del cual se obtuvo dicha cantidad. Se encontró la metodología Kanban aplicado en tiendas Retail, donde se evidencia su aplicación, el cual ayuda a mejorar el flujo de productos ofrecidos a los clientes.
