Esta investigación tiene como objetivo general estudiar la relación agua/cemento y cómo influye en la permeabilidad del concreto para solicitaciones especificadas de f’c=210 kg/cm², y f’c= 280 kg/cm² con diferentes relaciones agua/cemento y dos tipos de tamaño máximo nominal de agregado 1” y ¾”. La presente tesis hace uso del tipo de investigación aplicada, que se caracteriza por emplear conocimientos ya existentes y determinar si estos pueden ser usados para solucionar un problema actual, y el diseño de investigación es el experimental, debido a que no se es conocido cuál es la proporción de relación agua cemento que debe de tener la mezcla de concreto poroso para mejorar su permeabilidad. Se ha demostrado que el concreto a mayor relación agua/cemento, mayor es su permeabilidad, puesto que la relación que existe entre el coeficiente de permeabilidad y la relación a/c es directa y varia de forma exponencial como también a menor relación a/c menor profundidad de penetración del agua., para concretos f’c=210 kg/cm² y f’c=280 kg/cm² TMN=1" y TMN=3/4”.
