The result of study shows that there is a low positive correlation 0.255 between the two variables, however in the analysis of the sub domains of emotional intelligence was found that both empathy and reality testing are significantly related to level job satisfaction.Se estudió la relación existente entre el Cociente Emocional y el nivel de Satisfacción Laboral en los docentes de Educación Inicial de la red N°4 de Ventanilla de la Región Callao. El tipo de diseño es descriptivo correlacional y la muestra estuvo conformada por 28 docentes a los que se les aplicó la Escala de Satisfacción Laboral ( SL – SPC) y el Inventario de la Inteligencia Emocional ICE – BarOn; estandarizado por Nelly Ugarriza en el Perú.
