This research presents a descriptive and comparative analysis of internet use in men and women students of the school children of fourth and fifth grade of secondary of high school in La Perla (Callao). The purpose of this research was to determine the point of access, frequency, time online, instructor and proficiency in Internet use by gender. The research was also conducted find out the purpose of internet use in these areas: communication, information, education and entertainment. 66 students of both sexes were surveyed, and the major findings include the following data
