description En el presente trabajo de investigación, se demuestra que la mejora en la Gestión de Almacenes influye en la productividad de la preparación de pedidos en criterios de costos y tiempos en el almacén central de la empresa Agrocasagrande SAC, del distrito de Casa Grande, con el Impacto directo en la mejora de la productividad en la empresa Agrocasagrande SAC, la metodología utilizada comprende un diagnóstico situacional mediante la recopilación y análisis de datos históricos, la aplicación de herramientas como una gestión de almacenes adecuada, diseño de almacenes (Layout), sistemas de almacenamiento y gestión de almacenamiento ABC ayudará a mejorar la productividad del almacén central de la empresa Agrocasagrande SAC. A partir de los resultados obtenidos por cuanto al valorizar la cantidad de pérdidas de tiempos y costos de preparación de pedidos que son parte de la recepción, almacenamiento y despacho de productos y materiales, ha representado en el periodo de muestreo Enero a diciembre del 2019 la productividad de ítems despachados aumento en 128%. Considerando un tiempo promedio de preparación de 5.02 minutos antes de la aplicación de herramientas, se plantearon recomendaciones que ayuden a automatizar la gestión de almacenes evitando errores que pueda causar los miembros del equipo de trabajo
