Conclusiones: Se encontró asociación entre el ETL y la P3M, a excepción, la posición vestibulolingual con el espesor de la tabla lingual a nivel de su tercio medio, de igual manera la posición mesiodistal con el espesor a su tercio apical

Material and Method: This was a retrospective study conducted on 363 third molars identified in cone-beam computed tomography scans. The thickness of the mandibular lingual plate was assessed at three levels: cervical, middle, and apical, in addition to the position of the third molars. Age and sex were also evaluated. Results: An association was found between the position according to depth and thickness at the cervical level (p<0.001), middle level (p<0.001), and apical level (p<0.001); the position according to buccolingual angulation and thickness at the cervical level (p<0.001) and apical level (p<0.001); and the position according to mesiodistal angulation and thickness at the cervical level (p=0.004) and middle level (p<0.001).
