description El presente estudio de tipo cuantitativo descriptivo – correlacional, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de la enfermera en el manejo del dolor del prematuro hospitalizado en el servicio de neonatología del Hospital Regional Virgen de Fátima -Chachapoyas, 2024. La población muestral estuvo conformada por 30 enfermeras que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión establecidos. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos cuestionarios para evaluar el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de las enfermeras en el manejo del dolor del prematuro hospitalizado. Los resultados muestran que el 70 % de las enfermeras presentó nivel de conocimiento alto y el 30% regular. El 100% presentó actitud favorable. En conclusión, mediante la aplicación de la prueba estadística Correlación de Pearson = 0.250; se determinó que no existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de la enfermera en el manejo del dolor del prematuro hospitalizado, siendo p = 0.182 (p>0.05).

The sample population consisted of 30 nurses who met the established inclusion criteria. For data collection, two questionnaires were used to evaluate the level of knowledge and attitude of nurses in managing pain in hospitalized premature infants. The results show that 70% of the nurses had a high level of knowledge and 30% had a regular level. 100% had a favorable attitude.
