La investigación fue de tipo cuantitativo porque los resultados obtenidos fueron medibles, no experimental, correlacional de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por 60 familiares. Los datos se recolectaron a través de un cuestionario: factores sociodemográficos y nivel de percepción del cuidado humanizado, validado por juicio de expertos, con confiabilidad obtenida a través de alfa de Cronbach cuyo valor fue 0,781. Resultados: El 85% de la muestra presentan un nivel de percepción alta, 15% percepción media. Se encontró también que existe una relación directa y significativa entre los factores sociodemográficos y nivel de percepción dimensión biológica con coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman (-0.385**), la dimensión sociocultural con Rho de Spearman (-0.297*) y dimensión Rho de Spearman es (-0.281*) sobre el cuidado humanizado que brinda la enfermería en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Regional Docente de Cajamarca, aceptando la hipótesis de investigación formulada.

The investigation was quantitative because the results obtained were measurable, non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational. The population was made up of 60 family members. The data were collected through a questionnaire: sociodemographic factors and level of perception of humanized care, validated by expert judgment, with reliability obtained through Cronbach's alpha whose value was 0.781. Results: 85% of the sample present a high level of perception, 15% average perception.
