description La presente investigación se planteó como objetivo determinar el uso que se le ha dado al storytelling en los álbumes de las bandas de música pop más exitosas de los años 2020 al 2024; se trató de un estudio básico descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, corte transversal y diseño no experimental; la muestra, de tipo censal, estuvo conformada por los 6 álbumes publicados por las bandas pop más exitosas en las regiones de América, Europa y Asia. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó una ficha de cotejo, el instrumentó constó de 15 ítems en escalamiento dicotómico, el mismo que fue sometido a un análisis de confiabilidad con el estadístico Kuder Richardson (KR20), obteniendo un valor de 0,946, para la variable storytelling en la discografía de las bandas de pop más exitosas, evidenciándose una alta fiabilidad del instrumento. Se determinó que el uso del storytelling en los álbumes de las bandas pop más exitosas ha sido una estrategia clave para conectar profundamente con el público, adaptándose según la región y concluyendo en que la transmedialidad es uno de los insumos más importantes que debe estar incluido durante toda la estrategia narrativa para la profundización de la historia. Su utilidad radica con mayor énfasis en cuanto a la fidelización del público a través de lo emocional y expresivo, según la temática presente en la historia y la correcta aplicación de los elementos que la componen.

It was a basic descriptive study with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional in nature, and non-experimental in design. The sample, of a census type, consisted of the six albums released by the most successful pop bands in the regions of the Americas, Europe, and Asia. For data collection, a checklist was applied. The instrument consisted of 15 dichotomously scaled items and was subjected to a reliability analysis using the Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 (KR20), yielding a value of 0,946 for the variable ""storytelling in the discography of the most successful pop bands,"" indicating high reliability of the instrument. It was determined that the use of storytelling in the albums of the most successful pop bands has been a key strategy for deeply connecting with audiences, adapting according to the region. The study concluded that transmedia is one of the most important elements that must be included throughout the entire narrative strategy to deepen the story.
