description El presente informe de tesis expone el desarrollo del proyecto arquitectónico del Colegio de Alto Rendimiento (COAR) para estudiantes de la región Lambayeque, abarcando desde una fase investigativa hasta una fase proyectual. La elección del tema y el interés por su desarrollo surgen debido a la complejidad de la tipología arquitectónica que implica el modelo educativo de los COAR en el Perú, así como la necesidad de contar con una infraestructura educativa definitiva para la región en mención. En la primera etapa de investigación se realiza un diagnóstico de la problemática actual en torno a la infraestructura existente, así también se analiza la naturaleza y tipología del equipamiento, las necesidades del usuario principal, así como las relaciones funcionales que deben tener las zonas y espacios de esta tipología. En la segunda etapa, correspondiente al desarrollo proyectual, se concibe la propuesta arquitectónica a partir de la conceptualización de las bases teóricas estudiadas, dando como resultado el proyecto arquitectónico final, con el objetivo que la arquitectura del complejo educativo influya positivamente en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. De la misma manera el proyecto arquitectónico incluye el desarrollo de sus respectivas especialidades técnicas, necesarias para garantizar su correcto funcionamiento y viabilidad.

The choice of the topic and the interest in its development arose from the complexity of the architectural typology implied by the educational model of the COAR schools in Peru, as well as the need for a definitive educational infrastructure for the region in question. In the first stage of research, a diagnosis of the current problems surrounding the existing infrastructure is made. The nature and typology of the facilities, the needs of the primary user, and the functional relationships that the areas and spaces of this typology should have are also analyzed. In the second stage, corresponding to project development, the architectural proposal is conceived based on the conceptualization of the theoretical foundations studied, resulting in the final architectural project, with the objective of ensuring that the architecture of the educational complex positively influences the academic performance of the students.
