La muestra evaluada fue conformada por 195 estudiantes de secundaria de tres instituciones educativas bilingües de la ciudad de Trujillo, a quienes se les administró la Escala Minds de Inteligencias Múltiples de César Ruiz Alva, y el Inventario de Estilos de Aprendizaje de David Kolb. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que el estilo de aprendizaje predominante es Convergente (40.5%), la inteligencia corporal–kinestésica presenta un nivel alto con un porcentaje de 39%, y las inteligencias lógico – matemática y musical presentan un nivel bajo con porcentajes de 50.3% y 50.8%, respectivamente. Además, no se encontró correlación entre los estilos de aprendizaje y las inteligencias múltiples.
