El diamante cruzó la línea de no efecto con un RR= 1.11 IC 95% (0.71 – 1.73) p=0.11, denotando que no hay asociación significativa. Conclusión El tratamiento antibiótico postoperatorio corto tiene una tendencia a aumentar el riesgo de infecciones intraabdominales, en comparación al tratamiento antibiótico postoperatorio largo en adultos con apendicitis aguda complicada; sin embargo, la diferencia no fue estadísticamente significativa.
