description Este proyecto de investigación se centra en el estudio de la efectividad del ácido tranexámico en el control del sangrado intraoperatorio en pacientes que son operados de prostatectomia transvesical en el Hospital Regional de Tumbes entre los periodos 2008-2018.Se realizara la recopilación de datos según los criterios de inclusión y exclusión y se recogerán los datos de acuerdo a una ficha de recolección (ANEXO N° 01).el estudio es de tipo analítico, observacional, longitudinal y retrospectivo. Las conclusiones de la investigación van hacer expuestos en cuadros distribuidos en frecuencias de uno o dos dimensiones, con resultados porcentuales totales y parciales, así mismo imágenes precisas que va facilitar la interpretación de información relevante de los programas SPSS25.en el analisis estadístico se utilizara la Prueba de Chi Cuadrado.
