description El presente estudio de investigación denominada: Conocimiento y cuidado de catéter venoso central en enfermeros/as de la unidad de cuidados intensivos, Hospital Regional Docente Cajamarca - 2024, planteo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y el nivel de cuidado de catéter venoso central en enfermeros/as de la unidad de cuidados intensivos, Hospital Regional Docente Cajamarca - 2024. El estudio fue de corte transversal, descriptivo, correlacional, con una muestra de 40 enfermeros/as; se utilizó como técnica la encuesta, instrumento un cuestionario y una lista de verificación. Los resultados fueron; el 65.0% tienen un nivel de conocimiento bueno, y 35.0% muestran un nivel de conocimiento regular; el 87.5% tienen un nivel de cuidado bueno, y el 12.5% su nivel de cuidado es regular; el 87.5% se muestra un nivel de conocimiento y cuidado bueno; y el 27.5% su nivel de conocimiento es regular y su nivel de cuidado es bueno. Se concluye que existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre ambas variables (p<0,05) rho = 0.372 con probabilidad p = 0.018 es menor o igual que 0.05 (nivel de significancia del 5%), aceptando la hipótesis alterna del estudio
