description La siguiente investigación presenta la problemática en el Distrito de Veintiséis de Octubre que está vinculada con la ausencia de un Centro de Educación Ambiental y la falta de importancia a la carencia de estas mismas infraestructuras para la educación, sensibilización y conservación del medio ambiente. Como objetivo principal se ha planteado proyectar un Centro de Investigación e interpretación ambiental donde se realicen actividades de orientación y sensibilización a los visitantes donde se les facilite la comprensión y apreciación de la naturaleza y el medio ambiente. La metodología que se ha propuesto maneja un enfoque mixto, de tal manera que se pueda describir, recopilar y analizar la información mediante los proyectos de referencia, encuestas y consultas en reseñas bibliográficas, teniendo como fin abordar la problemática planteada de manera integral. Por lo tanto, se debe manejar un criterio de diseño arquitectónico que permita satisfacer las necesidades de la población, considerando que las bases teóricas puedan desarrollarse de manera adaptable, flexible y accesible.

Por lo tanto, se debe manejar un criterio de diseño arquitectónico que permita satisfacer las necesidades de la población, considerando que las bases teóricas puedan desarrollarse de manera adaptable, flexible y accesible.The following investigation presents the problem in the District of Veintiseis de Octubre that is linked to the absence of an Environmental Education Center and the lack of importance to the lack of these same infrastructures for education, awareness and conservation of the environment. The main objective has been to design an Environmental Research and Interpretation Center where orientation and awareness activities are carried out for visitors, facilitating their understanding and appreciation of nature and the environment. The methodology that has been proposed uses a mixed approach, in such a way that the information can be described, compiled and analyzed through reference projects, surveys and consultations in bibliographic reviews, with the aim of addressing the problem raised in a comprehensive manner. Therefore, an architectural design criterion must be used to satisfy the needs of the population, considering that the theoretical bases can be developed in an adaptable, flexible and accessible
