OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre factores sociodemográficos y conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de fotoprotección en internos de medicina humana del Hospital Militar Central Lima 2022-2023. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio de tipo transversal, analítico, aplicándose una encuesta validada con una población de estudio constituida por 105 internos de Medicina Humana del Hospital Militar Central del 2022-2023, de los cuales se logró encuestar a todos, realizándose el análisis de datos con un intervalo de confianza del 95%. RESULTADOS: De los 105 internos se encontró que la mayoría contaba con un nivel alto del 97.1% (102) en conocimientos, 81.0% (85) en actitudes y un nivel medio 68.6% (72) en prácticas. Los factores sociodemográficos que tuvieron relación significativa con las actitudes fueron el género y la ciudad de procedencia (p=0.022 y p=0.035 respectivamente, del mismo modo que con el nivel de prácticas tuvo el género (p=0.043). CONCLUSIÓN: Se determinó la relación entre el género y la ciudad de procedencia con las actitudes y prácticas de fotoprotección en los internos de medicina del Hospital Militar Central en la Ciudad de Lima.

OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and knowledge, attitudes and photoprotection practices in human medicine interns at the Central Military Hospital Lima 2022- 2023. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A cross-sectional, analytical study was performed, applying a validated survey with a study population made up of 105 Human Medicine interns of the Central Military Hospital from 2022-2023, of which it was possible to survey all of them, performing the analysis of data with a confidence interval of 95%. RESULTS: Of the 105 inmates, it was found that the majority had a high level of 97.1% (102) in knowledge, 81.0% (85) in attitudes and a medium level of 68.6% (72) in practice. The sociodemographic factors that had a significant relationship with the attitudes were the gender and the city of origin (p=0.022 and p=0.035 respectively, in the same way that the gender had the level of practices (p=0.043).
