Se aplicaron tres tratamientos (cada uno con 10 conejos), siendo T0 la cicatrización por segunda intención sin aditivos, T1 la cicatrización por segunda intención con plasma rico en plaquetas activado con cloruro de calcio, y T2 la cicatrización por segunda intención con solución de cloruro de sodio al 20%. La evolución de la cicatrización fue evaluada en los días 3, 6, 9 y 12 del proceso. Los resultados evidenciaron diferencias significativas (p<0.05) entre los tratamientos, destacando T1 por mostrar los mejores resultados clínicos durante el periodo de evaluación. Asimismo, no se observó presencia de tejido necrótico en ninguno de los especímenes analizados. En conclusión, el uso de plasma rico en plaquetas favoreció la cicatrización por segunda intención en conejos, mostrando una evolución más favorable y sin complicaciones, lo que respalda su potencial aplicación en la medicina veterinaria.

Three treatments were applied (each with 10 rabbits): T0 was healing by secondary intention without additives, T1 was healing by secondary intention with platelet-rich plasma activated with calcium chloride, and T2 was healing by secondary intention with 20% sodium chloride solution. The progress of wound healing was evaluated on days 3, 6, 9, and 12 of the procedure. The results showed significant differences (p<0.05) between treatments, with T1 showing the best clinical results during the evaluation period. Furthermore, no necrotic tissue was observed in any of the specimens analyzed.
