En este sentido, el proyecto de tesis espera determinar los factores de riesgos asociados a la RAM en urocultivo de pacientes en UCI del hospital regional de ICA. La metodología empleada es de enfoque cuantitativo, siendo analítico, retrospectivo, transversal y con diseño de casos y controles. La población será de 3112 gramnegativos procesados de enero a diciembre del año 2023, en pacientes en UCI del hospital ICA. La muestra se conformará por 637 urocultivos con bacterias resistentes que es el grupo casos (gramnegativos resistentes) y 637 urocultivos con bacterias sensibles que es el grupo control (gramnegativos sensibles). La prueba estadística para contrastar la hipótesis es la prueba Chi-cuadrada, haciendo uso del Odds Ratio
