Para el análisis de los datos, se empleó el Chi cuadrado, el indicador de Somer, la correlación de Spearman. Los resultados indicaron que los RN de primigestas que recibieron psicoprofilaxis obstétrica de emergencia tuvieron un puntaje de Apgar normal al minuto, con un 97% alcanzando un puntaje de 7-10, en contraste con aquellos que no recibieron la psicoprofilaxis. Las características sociodemográficas fueron similares en ambos grupos, destacando las mujeres jóvenes y con educación secundaria, aunque las primigestas sin psicoprofilaxis eran más urbanas. Además, la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica de emergencia se relacionó con el Apgar del RN al minuto, presentando una significancia estadística de 0.001. En conclusión, la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica de emergencia se relaciona con el Apgar al minuto.

For data analysis, the Chi square, the Somer indicator, and the Spearman correlation were used. The results indicated that primiparous women's RNs who received emergency obstetric psychoprophylaxis had a normal Apgar score at 1 minute, with 97% reaching a score of 7-10, in contrast to those who did not receive psychoprophylaxis. Sociodemographic characteristics were similar in both groups, with young women with secondary education standing out, although primigravidas without psychoprophylaxis were more urban. In addition, emergency obstetric psychoprophylaxis was related to the 1-minute Apgar score of the newborn, presenting a statistical significance of 0.001.
