RESULTADOS: La distribución de ansiedad según los niveles encontrados fueron ansiedad baja (22%), media (61%) y alta (17%). El promedio de edad en las gestantes con ansiedad media /alta en comparación con las gestantes con ansiedad baja fue 28,15 ± 6,04 vs 30,16 ± 3,93; p < 0,05; el promedio de paridad fue 2,19 ± 0,92 vs 2,51 ± 0,63; p < 0,05. El estado civil casada estuvo presente en 80% vs 95,56%; p < 0,05 y el nivel de estudios superior fue 40% vs 57,78%; p < 0,05. La presencia de antecedentes de eventos obstétricos adversos (AEOA) fue 23,23% vs 62,22%; p < 0,001; y en relación a los tipos de AEOA, se observó la presencia de aborto en 9,68% vs 24,44%; p < 0,001 y parto pre término en 7,10% vs 28,89%; p < 0,001 como tipo de AEOA significativos. En el análisis multivariado a través de la regresión logística se identificó al nivel de estudios (ORa = 2,41) y el antecedente de eventos obstétricos adversos (AEOA) (ORa = 5,93) como factores independientemente asociados a ansiedad media y alta en gestantes. CONCLUSIONES: El antecedente de eventos obstétricos adversos fue un factor asociado a la presencia de ansiedad en sus diferentes niveles de ansiedad.

MATERIAL AND METHODS: We performed an observational, crosssectional, descriptive study that evaluated 200 pregnantwomen. RESULTS: The distribution of anxiety according to the levels found were low (22%), medium (61%) and high anxiety (17%). The mean age in pregnant women with medium / high anxiety compared to low anxiety pregnant women was 28.15 ± 6.04 vs 30.16 ± 3.93; P < 0.05; the mean parity was 2.19 ± 0.92 vs. 2.51 ± 0.63; P < 0.05. Married civil status was present in 80% vs. 95.56%; P < 0.05 and the higher education level was 40% vs 57.78%; P < 0.05. The presence of a antecedents of adverse obstetric events (AAOE) was 23.23% vs 62.22%; P < 0.001; and in relation to the AAOE types, the presence of abortion was observed in 9.68% vs 24.44%; P < 0.001 and preterm labor in 7.10% vs 28.89%; P < 0.001 as significant AAOE type. In the multivariate analysis through logistic regression, the level of studies (ORa = 2.41) and the antecedent of adverse obstetric events (AAOE) (ORa = 5.93) were identified as independent factors associated with mean and high anxiety in pregnant women.
