Si bien es cierto que los impactos positivos son beneficiosos para la vida, los negativos tienen el poder de degradarla, logrando cambiar un ecosistema de calidad en otro donde ya no se pueda desarrollar una vida normal tanto de personas como de animales, vegetales y el resto de seres bióticos, y en este sentido debe enfocarse básicamente nuestra preocupación.
