Sumario: | The present study aimed to determine the factors that interfere with the Pap test in Women with active sexual life of Hamlet "Bello Horizonte” - Band Shilcayo District, San Martin. July - September 2014. Qualitative research, descriptive correlational Cross cut was made. A custom survey of 80 women with active sexual life was Applied. Inferential statistics determined the relationship between variables Through the chi -square test with a significance level of < 0.05. After processing of Information in support of epidemiological Epiinfo software version 8.5 the following Results were obtained: Sexually active women of Hamlet "Bello Horizonte” in Banda district Shilcayo, are characterized as being between 20 and 45 years (72.5 %); 51.3 % were cohabiting; 30.0% are incomplete secondary level. Also, 43.8 % Know that the Pap is used to detect cervical cancer. Similarly 43.8 % had a high Level of knowledge about the Pap test; 45 % showed a favorable attitude towards Pap test. The relationship between the factors that interfere with the Pap test in Women with active sexual life of Hamlet Bello Horizonte indicates that 38.8 % of PAP examination is performed by low awareness; 55% have an indifferent Attitude; 22.5 % show fear; 43.8 % 57.6 % are ashamed and poor care. We Conclude that there is a statistically significant relationship between high- level Knowledge and positive attitude of women with active sexual life versus Pap test (p < 0.05). |
