Ambas pruebas obtuvieron una buena confiabilidad y consistencia interna, los resultados obtenidos fueron: no existe relación significativa entre impacto y adherencia al tratamiento, pero existen diferencias significativas entre la adherencia y el tipo y tiempo del tratamiento, así como existen diferencias significativas entre el impacto del tratamiento y la edad de los pacientes y el tipo de tratamiento, se recomienda una intervención interdisciplinaria en el tratamiento de pacientes con cáncer. The study design was descriptive correlational, and the sample used was 100 oncology patients Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital in Trujillo. The instruments used were the level of adherence to treatment of cancer, developed for the study, and functional assessment scale cancer therapy created by Cella, Hernandez, Bonomi, Corona, Cowboy, Shimoto and Baez (2008). Both tests were good reliability and internal consistency, the results were: no significant relationship between impact and adherence to treatment, but there are significant differences between adherence and the type and duration of treatment as well as significant differences between the impact of treatment and age of the patients and type of treatment is recommended interdisciplinary intervention in the treatment of cancer patients.
