This thesis PhD in Nursing Sciences, the study aimed to describe the core and peripheral each of the social representations of sexual and reproductive health in students of the School of Nursing Culiacan, Mexico nucleus. The theoretical approach is based on the concepts of the theory of social representations of Moscovici (2000), and the main concepts of care Waldow (2004), Boff (2003), sexual and reproductive health (SSA / Mexico 2006) will guide the approach theoretical investigation of this methodological approach. With mixed quantitative / qualitative, semi-structured approach for structural and in-depth interviews with 20 participants procedural approach questionnaires were applied. For data analysis, analysis of the core of Abric (1994) and speech analysis according Jodelet (2006) was used. The results of the thesis unveiled three categories: i) Care sexual and reproductive health in the female and male pregnancy. 5 sub-categories: 1) Contraceptive use, 2) Communication with parents, 3) Sex education absent 4) The woman does not care for sex, 5) man has intercourse with multiple partners. II) Care sexual and reproductive health in male and female contraception. five sub-categories: 1) Male condom, 2) It is the responsibility of men and women protect themselves, 3) Tablets / Diu, 4) Emergency Pill 5) Withdrawal / Condom. And III) Care sexual and reproductive health in diseases of male and female sexual transmission. four sub-categories: 1) relations with multiple partners, 2) Sexual Education absent, 3) Thoughts of me will not happen to me, 4) Alcohol and drugs.
