The present qualitative - descriptive research work was carried out in Pacanguilla with the objective of analyzing the perception that women have of intrafamily violence, through the application of techniques and instruments. It was possible to identify the concepts that women have about their perception of violence. For the collection of data, an interview was used for classified focus groups where the discourses obtained were classified into four categories registered in detail for their analysis and interpretation, thus unleashing the psychological, physical mistreatment until reaching the worst of them which is the sexual abuse. Therefore, it leads us to determine that for some of them this process is part of their life and they take it as something normal; On the other hand, for another group of women surveyed, it turned out to be humiliating, so they decided to leave their partners to be happy.
