The average obtained onion production was 50 T / ha, also features the largest bulb in terms of diameter; length and weight were 4.94 cm, 4.88 cm and 70.6 g respectively. Finally for better agricultural management in Arequipa red onion crop variety should take into account the following aspects: planting time, each market offers the greatest economic expectations, the most suitable variety to be planted and the area present the best soil and climate conditions for the crop have the highest productivity.

Los suelos de dicho sector son franco arcillosos, de fertilidad media y con buen drenaje. La principal hortaliza de rotación fue sandía, además de otras hortalizas como ají paprika y tomate, donde después de cosechadas se realizaron las siguientes labores agronómicas para la siembra de cebolla: preparación de terreno, preparación de camas almacigueras, siembra de almácigos, labores de cultivo en almacigo como: fertilización, riegos, control fitosanitario y de malezas; trasplante a campo definitivo y a las respectivas labores de conducción como: fertilización, riego, control de malezas y fitosanitario; cosecha, arrancado y curado. El promedio de producción de cebolla obtenido fue de 50 T/ ha, así mismo las mayores características del bulbo en cuanto a diámetro, longitud y peso fueron: 4.94 cm, 4.88 cm y 70.6 gr respectivamente.
