The present study was conducted to study the agronomic management of Allium cepa L. Arequipeña Red variety planted in rotation with vegetables and took place at the sector Faclo Grande de Guadalupe, La Libertad. The soils in this sector are loam, moderately fertile and well drained. The main vegetable rotation was watermelon, and other vegetables like paprika peppers and tomato, where after harvested the following agronomic practices for growing onions were performed: preparation of land, preparation of seedbeds beds, planting seedlings, tillage seedbed as fertilization, irrigation, weed control and plant protection; transplant to final field work and the respective driving as fertilization, irrigation, weed control and plant protection; harvesting and curing booted.
