Nivel de ruido en el interior de los hospitales Belén y Regional Docente de la ciudad de Trujillo, 2011

Was studied the noise level inside the Belen and Regional Teacher Hospitals of Trujillo city, for this purpose, was used a sound level meter Cirrus, Model CR: 811C, measurement range: 20 - 140 dBA, accuracy: + / - 2 dBA to 94 dBA level, frequency weighting: A and C, and response time Fast / Slow. The highest noise levels were at Belen Hospital: in the morning shift 90.1dBA in the emergency service, on the afternoon shift at 85 dBA surgery services A and Medicine B and the 86 dBA night shift at the front door; the highest levels of noise in the Regional Hospital were: in the morning shift 79 dBA at the front door, in the afternoon shift at 79 dBA and UCIN services at 75 dBA in night shift emergency service; the results obtained it is concluded that the noise levels in Belen and Regional Teacher Hospitals of Trujillo city exceeded the maximum permissible limits recommended by WHO, the noise quality standards of Peru, and the Trujillo Municipal Ordinance (45 dBA); the statistical test determined that there is significant difference in noise levels in divers hospital services.
