Sumario:The purpose of the investigation was to describe and analyze the everyday life of a postamputaded person with phantom limb syndrome. As well as to identify theorical and conceptualized bases of care. The theoretical support was based on the thoughts of Maffosoli (1999 to 2009), Le Breton (1999 to 2002), Boff (1999) and Bustamante (200 to 2004). The study is qualitative-descriptive and exploratory. Which allowed to overcome the aim of the stated investigation. The capturation the data was done by a constructed interviews. The population were 12 people postamputated diagnosed with phantom lim syndrome. Which was determinate with the saturation of data. Then the discourse analysis was used to organized the results into the two following categories: 1.Inbodily pain, with the subcategories, 1.1(In)completeness, 1.2 living with pain, 1.3 Time and movement of pain, 1.4 Care and care(less). 2.Social pain, with the subcategories, 2.1fighting for life and pain, 2.2 Others and pain. The final consideration states that: The (In)completeness that is persisted by the postamputated person carrying the phantom limb syndrome. It is probably related with the quality of their everyday life.
