El presente estudio tuvo por objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de madres sobre estimulación temprana y el comportamiento del desarrollo psicomotor en el niño menor de un 1 año del Centro de Salud San Joaquín, Ica 2021. Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, de diseño no experimental correlacional, con muestra de 90 niños y sus madres, con técnica de encuesta y revisión documental, como instrumento un cuestionario de confiabilidad Alfa de Cron Bach 0.807, y ficha de recolección de datos. Resultados: El 53.3% de madres tuvo conocimiento de nivel medio, 27.8% nivel bajo y 18.9% nivel alto; por dimensiones el conocimiento sobre generalidades fue de nivel alto 40% y conocimiento sobre áreas de la estimulación temprana de nivel medio en el 45.6%. El 71.1% de niños tuvo normal comportamiento del desarrollo psicomotor, y un 28.9% en riesgo de retraso; por dimensiones se encontró 12.2% de niños con riesgo de retraso en el desarrollo de la coordinación, 11.1% en el desarrollo social, 2.2% en el desarrollo del lenguaje, y 14.4% en el desarrollo motor. Se encontró relación entre conocimiento y comportamiento del desarrollo psicomotor (p=0.000) y por dimensiones con el desarrollo de la coordinación (p=0.018), social (p=0.038) y motor (p=0.001). Existe relación entre el conocimiento de madres sobre estimulación temprana y el comportamiento del desarrollo psicomotor en niños menores de 1 año del Centro de Salud San Joaquín, Ica 2021. ----- The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers about early stimulation and the behavior of psychomotor development in children under 1 year of age at the San Joaquín Health Center, Ica 2021. Quantitative study, descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental-correlational design, with a sample of 90 children and their mothers, with a survey technique and documentary review, as an instrument a reliability questionnaire Cronbach's Alpha 0.807, and data collection form. 53.3% of mothers had medium level knowledge, 27.8% low level and 18.9% high level; by dimensions, knowledge about generalities was high level 40% and knowledge about areas of early stimulation medium level in 45.6%. 71.1% of children had normal behavior of psychomotor development, and 28.9% at risk of delay; By dimensions, 12.2% of children were found to be at risk of delay in coordination development, 11.1% in social development, 2.2% in language development, and 14.4% in motor development. A relationship was found between knowledge and behavior of psychomotor development (p=0.000) and by dimensions with the development of coordination (p=0.018), social (p=0.038) and motor (p=0.001).
