La implementación de un sistema de seguridad y salud en el trabajo se apoyará en la ley nacional Nº 29783 (ley de seguridad y salud en el trabajo), que tiene como objetivo promover una cultura de prevención de riesgos laborales para evitar daños a la salud, accidentes, discapacidad y muerte de los trabajadores. En este contexto, dado que la empresa no cuenta con un sistema de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, la empresa decidió implementar el SSST, lo que lo hará adaptable a los requerimientos internacionales y la legislación vigente con su implementación obtendrá como beneficios el ahorro de costos al evitar sanciones administrativas (multas) por incumplimiento en materia de SST, otros beneficios que también podría obtenerse tales como mejoras en la productividad del personal, calidad de vida, nivel de satisfacción laboral, imagen empresarial, posicionamiento de mercado, entre otros.
