Sumario: | Poverty has different manifestations and characteristics, which are very important in order to design the strategy to combat it, one of which is access to basic services. The objective of this magisterial thesis is to analyze the characterization of poor households and access to basic services in Peru in the period 2016 - 2020. Guided by the aforementioned objective, this Quantitative study is carried out, of a Descriptive level and of a design No Experimental. The conclusions reached is that the characteristics of poor households in Peru are marked by the fact that the form of water supply is through the Public Network Inside the House, the same one that is used by 73.35% of the households. households, which is equivalent to 1,167,517 family units; The way to eliminate excreta and sewage is mainly through the Public Network Inside the House, a modality exercised by 474,401 households, which comes to mean 34.11% of the total; and, likewise, the type of public lighting used most frequently is Electric Power by Public Network, through which 1,407,299 poor households are supplied, equivalent to 74.17%. It should be noted that 76,210 households in poverty are supplied with water in other ways, which represents 4.79%; likewise, 245,016 households do not have any way of eliminating excreta, which means 17.61%; and, 16.67% of Do not use any lighting. |
