Descripción
Sumario:The present research work is based on evaluating the knowledge of the risk on the use of agrochemicals in vegetable crops in the community of Manacamiri. Punchana district. 2022. The non-experimental, quantitative research design was used for this. The research work is descriptive-cross-sectional. A sample of 50 people was taken, all beneficiaries of the Food Security project, promoted by the Regional Government of Loreto, who develop and reside in the study community. The results achieved were developed through descriptive statistics and are presented: The perception of vegetable producers about the level of risk involved in the use of agrochemicals is generally insufficient; they received information on how to use these products from little (80%) to none (10%). They know that they affect the environment (36%), health (30%) and nutrition 34%, taking it as food; Protection does not seem to be important, they only use a scarf (24%) and boots (12%), but there are farmers who said they do not use any protection (36%), as a general practice after the use of agrochemicals, they come to the bathroom and change respective clothing (60%). Typhoon and Cipermex esum were used as pesticides, quicklime as a soil improver and 3 foliar fertilizers for growing vegetables, but by "tradition" they refer to using Aldrin (insecticide) for growing bananas. The final disposal of agrochemical containers, 50%, says that they are left on the plot and only (24%) bury the containers. They consider that the use of agrochemicals can affect them or cause harm depending on the amount of the product they use and they rarely had any temporary effects on their health (50%), such as skin irritations. It is corroborated that they received some professional training on the use of agrochemicals, a situation that is not manifested, given the scarcity or null practice developed in the plots.
