| Sumario: | It is a quantitative study, with the purpose of evaluating the use of medicinal plants and the level of satisfaction in homes, of a descriptive, analytical and transversal type. The population is the consumers of products in the Amazonia Herbal Market of Pasaje Paquito, with an average of 66 daily buyers and from which the sample of 45 daily buyers was determined. The basic instrument was a structured survey with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.781. Initially, the normality of the sample data was determined, using the Shapiro Wilk test, which determined that the Pearson correlation and the Spearman correlation were used for the statistical analysis and which allowed us to conclude: The use of medicinal plants from Pasaje Paquito influences significantly in the level of satisfaction of Iquitos households, high satisfaction is recognized because they are perceived as effective, accessible and safe compared to conventional medications. but also for its cultural and economic value. The most widely used medicinal plants are cat's claw (Uncaria. Tomentosa), annatto (Bixa Orellana) and chuchuhuasi (Maytenus laevis), which are preferred for their perceived effectiveness in the treatment of common ailments such as diabetes and pressure. high. The main reasons why they turn to medicinal plants are the treatment of diseases and the prevention of health conditions and improvement of general well-being. Affordability and confidence in safety and effectiveness play an important role in its preference over conventional medications. The level of satisfaction with the effectiveness of medicinal plants is high. The perception of safety and quality of the medicinal plants of Pasaje Paquito is generally positive. Users trust that these products are safe for use and report minimal experiences of side effects. Furthermore, medicinal plants are considered to offer a more natural and less invasive alternative compared to modern medicine. |
