Se obtuvo una diferencia de 37.1% en el aporte de energía, 43.3% en el aporte de proteína, 19.8% en el aporte de lípidos, y un 36.6% con respecto al requerimiento energético total en la dieta. El aporte calórico total de las dietas brindadas en el penal de varones “San Jacinto”, no cubre con el requerimiento calórico total promedio según los lineamientos del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario. Por lo tanto, el mayor aporte de macronutrientes de la dieta por tiempo de comida corresponde al almuerzo, seguido del desayuno y finalmente la cena.

A difference of 37.1% was obtained in the contribution of energy, 43.3% in the contribution of protein, 19.8% in the contribution of lipids, and 36.6% with respect to the total energy requirement in the diet. The total caloric intake of the diets provided in the "San Jacinto" male prison does not cover the average total caloric requirement according to the guidelines of the National Penitentiary Institute.
