Descripción
Sumario:This research examines the relationship between supply chain management and business sustainability in trading companies in the Belén district during the 2024 period. Through a quantitative approach and a correlational design, key variables such as inventory management efficiency, logistics costs, regulatory compliance, and investment in sustainable technologies were evaluated. The results reveal a significant relationship between these variables and the level of business sustainability, highlighting that efficient logistics strategies not only optimize resources and reduce costs but also enhance environmental and social performance. The Spearman correlation analysis showed a strong positive relationship between inventory management efficiency and resource efficiency (=0.75658), while the relationship between logistics costs and regulatory compliance was weak but significant (=0.1841). Additionally, the study identified that investment in sustainable technologies drives the development of responsible business practices and that corporate social responsibility improves sustainability and community engagement. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating sustainable strategies into supply chain management as a means to foster competitiveness and sustainable development in the region.
