Sumario:The objective of the research was: To evaluate the effect of the educational program on improving the level of environmental awareness in teachers of the UNAP Experimental School, San Juan Bautista district - 2021. The research was projective, with an experimental design with pre and post-test, made up of two groups: experimental (22 primary and secondary level teachers) and control group (22 primary and secondary level teachers), intentionally selected, who were administered an educational program with the purpose of improving the level of environmental awareness. The results obtained by the present investigation, after the application of the non-parametric Mann Whitney U test, of mean difference, allowed the following conclusions to be reached: 1. The application of the educational program significantly improves environmental awareness in teachers at the primary and secondary level of the UNAP Experimental School, with which the general hypothesis of the research is approved (p-value = 0.000 < ? =0.05). 2. The application of the educational program significantly improves environmental awareness (cognitive dimension) in teachers of the primary and secondary level of the UNAP Experimental School, with which the specific hypothesis 1 of the investigation is approved (p- value =0.000 < ? =0.05). 3. The application of the educational program significantly improves environmental awareness (affective dimension) in teachers of the primary and secondary level of the UNAP Experimental School, with which the specific hypothesis 2 of the investigation is approved (p- value =0.000 < ? =0.05). 4. The application of the educational program significantly improves environmental awareness (attitudinal dimension) in teachers of the primary and secondary level of the UNAP Experimental School, with which the specific hypothesis 3 of the investigation is approved (p- value =0.000 < ? =0.05).
