Sumario:The research "Behavior of agronomic and yield components under planting distances in Brassica olerácea L. "leaf cabbage", var. Portuguese tronchuda, in Zungarococha-Loreto. 2021", was developed in the Workshop of Teaching and Research of Horticultural Plants (TEIPH), of the Faculty of Agronomy-UNAP, located in Zungarococha, District of San Juan Bautista, Loreto.Peru. The type of research was quantitative, experimental, explanatory, cross-sectional and prospective, with an independent variable: Planting distances and six dependent variables (Plant height, plant diameter, root length; number of leaves/plant, weight of leaves per plant and weight of leaves/ha). The objective of the research work was to determine the behavior of the agronomic and yield components under the planting distances in Brassica olerácea L. "leaf cabbage", var. Portuguese tronchuda, in Zungarococha-Loreto. 2021. The experimental design that was used was that of Completely Random Blocks, with 4 Treatments and 4 repetitions. Each experimental unit consisted of three rows, fifteen plants/row (T1), 10 floors/row (T2), 7 floors/row (T3) and 6 floors/row (T4); the sampling unit consisted of four plants/experimental unit. At the end of the experiment the following conclusions were reached: The planting distancing influences the behavior of the agronomic components of Brassica olerácea L. "leaf cabbage", var. Portuguese tronchuda; the T4 Treatment (0.50 m x 0.30 m) obtained the best results from agronomic components and crop yield; the T4 Treatment (0.50 m x 0.30 m), presented the highest yield of weight of leaves / ha, with 43.48 t, showing its adaptation to the edaphoclimatic characteristics of the place; the T4 Treatment (0.50 m x 0.30 m), obtained greater profitability/ha, in the experiment with S/.75,575.00
