Sumario:The objective of this research was to explain the influence of feedback on third year students’ English reading comprehension at San Juan Bautista district secondary schools 2023. The type of research was explanatory with field study, transectional, contemporary and multivariate designs. The population consisted of 1019 students with a sample of 279 according to probability sampling with proportional affixation. The instruments applied were a Likert scale questionnaire and a written comprehension test. The results show that the students have a low level of comprehension with a mean score of 5.563 pre-beginner. On the other hand, the dimension obtaining information from the text with 8.138; beginner, inference and interpretation of the text with 3.238 and evaluation of the content, context and form of the text with 4.3167; both of them in pre-beginner. As for the feedback, it is in the effective category with 71.260 according to a scale transformed to 100. Likewise, in the dimension reflective feedback with a score of 79.104, descriptive feedback with 75.526, elementary feedback with 76, 889, are effective. In contrast, incorrect feedback with 55.068 is moderately effective. In conclusion, since there was no correlation, binary logistic regression could not be applied; therefore, there is no influence between the variables (r= 0.104; with p-value 0.83>0.05).
