Departamento Académico de FitotecniaEsta investigación se realizó en el distrito de Huayucachi, Provincia de Huancayo, a una altitud de 3,201 m.s.n.m., con el propósito de evaluar el comportamiento agronómico de cinco familias de papa procedentes de semilla sexual (TPS) y seleccionar los clones de mayor rendimiento. Las familias de semilla sexual evaluadas fueron ATZIMBA x CCOMPIS, AMARILIS x CO5LG4 - 13.5, SERRANITA x TPS - 13, PERRICHILI (Autofecundación) y YUNGAY (Autofecundación), suministrados por el Centro de Investigación de Cultivos Agrícolas (CICA) de Huancayo. Estos TPS fueron sembrados bajo el Diseño de Bloques Completamente al Azar con cuatro repeticiones; cada unidad experimental se conformó de 80 plantas dispuestas en ocho surcos distanciados a 90 cm y 30 cm entre plantas. Todas las familias se cosecharon a los 185 días después de la siembra. Los mejores rendimientos se obtuvieron con la familia de YUNGAY con un promedio de 26,9 t.ha•1, seguido por la familia ATZIMBA x CCOMPIS tuvo un rendimiento de 22,7 t.ha•1. Este resultado debe ser por su procedencia a partir de progenitores con periodo vegetativo largo, lo que muestra un alto rendimiento para producción de papa a partir de semilla sexualThis research was carried out in the district of Huayucachi, Province of Huancayo, at 3201 masl, with the purpose to evaluate the agronomic performace of five potato families from true potato seed (TPS) and to select the clones with the highest yield. The TPS families evaluated were ATZIMBA x CCOMPIS, AMARILIS x C05LG4 - 13.5, SERRANITA x TPS - 13, PERRICHILI (Self - fertiUzation) and YUNGAY (Self - fertilization), supplied by the Centro de Investigación de Cultivos Agrícolas (CICA) from Huancayo. Those TPS were sown under Randomized Complete Block Design with four repetitions; each experimental unit was made up of 80 plants arranged in eight rows separated by 90 cm and 30 cm between plants. AII families were harvested at 185 days after sowing. The best yields were obtained from the YUNGAY family with an average of 26.9 t.ha-1, followed by the ATZIMBA x CCOMPIS family with 22.7 t.ha-1.
