Departamento Académico de Manejo ForestalLa presente investigación se realizó en el Jardín Botánico Octavio Velarde Núñez de la Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina; distrito de la Molina, departamento de Lima. El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el potencial de los vuelos fotogramétricos con sistemas de aeronaves pilotadas a distancia (RPAS) Mavic 2pro, bajo distintos parámetros de altura de vuelo y ángulo de cámara, en la ubicación y estimación de altura total en árboles. Se estableció 4 tratamientos a partir de vuelos fotogramétricos con RPAS, donde: RPASC1 represento al vuelo fotogramétrico realizado bajo parámetros de altura de vuelo de 80 metros y ángulo de cámara de 45 °; RPASC2 realizado a una altura de 80 metros y ángulo de 70°; RPASC3 realizado a una altura de 100 metros y ángulo de 45 °; RPASC4 realizado a una altura de 100 metros y ángulo de 70° y un tratamiento de medición de altura total en campo con GPS Garmin 64s y Vertex IV. Se generó ortofotos y nube de puntos densificada en el software Pix4D Mapper 4.4.12. Utilizando el software FUSION se ubicó y estimó la altura total de los árboles. Se realizó el análisis estadístico con una prueba de Friedman y la raíz del error cuadrático medio (RMSE). Los resultados mostraron que el tratamiento RPASC1 ubicó al 76.8 % de árboles evaluados en campo, RPASC2 al 83.8 %, RPASC3 al 77.8% y RPASC4 al 88.9%. Así mismo, la prueba de Friedman evidenció la existencia de diferencia estadística entre los tratamientos usados para la estimación de altura de árboles con RPAS frente a la medición en campo, llegando a la conclusión que el tratamiento RPAS C4 es el único que no presenta diferencia estadística significativa en la estimación de altura en árboles frente a la medición en campo. Además, presentó un RMSE de 1.08 m.This research was carried out in the Octavio Velarde Núñez Botanical Garden of the La Molina National Agrarian University; La Molina district, Lima department. The objective of this research was to evaluate the potential of photogrammetric flights with remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) Mavic 2pro, under different parameters of flight height and camera angle, in the location and estimation of total height in trees.
