Descripción
Sumario:Arterial hypertension is one of the modifiable risk factors, constituting one of the most prevalent chronic noncommunicable diseases. This study identified the factors associated with nonadherence to antihypertensive treatment. Thesis articles were reviewed, in the repositories of private and public Peruvian universities, from 2016 to 2020; only seven publications met the selection criteria. Factors associated with treatment and patient were found; Among them, the most frequent were inadequate knowledge of the disease, doctor-patient relationship, and age.
