Método: se realizó un análisis sistemático de 10 artículos científicos sobre errores de dispensación de medicamentos, seleccionados por su relevancia en bases como PubMed y ScienceDirect. Se incluyeron estudios recientes que abordaron causas, consecuencias y soluciones. La información se organizó temáticamente para identificar estrategias clave. Resultados: entre los errores más comunes están la dosificación incorrecta (30.76%) y el etiquetado inadecuado (15.38%). Los factores principales incluyen sobrecarga laboral y falta de capacitación. Las estrategias sugeridas son automatización, protocolos claros y formación continua, lo que reduce errores y mejora la calidad de la atención. Conclusión: reducir errores en la dispensación requiere un enfoque integral que combine tecnología, capacitación y protocolos estandarizados. Estas acciones fortalecen la seguridad del paciente y promueven un sistema sanitario eficiente y sostenible.
