La recolección de datos se realizará mediante el “Cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory” y un “Cuestionario de Afrontamiento al Estrés de Sandín y Chorot” instrumentos ya validados y documentados a nivel internacional. El análisis estadístico se procesará en los programas excel y SPSS v.26, utilizando estadística descriptiva y pruebas inferenciales como chi-cuadrado. Resultados: se espera obtener evidencia empírica, cuantitativa y contextualizada sobre como el nivel de estrés laboral se relaciona con las estrategias de afrontamiento utilizadas por las enfermeras. Conclusiones: este estudio aportará evidencia científica que permitirá establecer la relación entre las variables investigadas, proporcionando información crucial para el desarrollo de programas de intervención específicos, capacitaciones focalizadas y políticas institucionales.

Materials and methods: using a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consisted of 45 nurses from the Surgical Center (SCQ), applying a census sampling. Data collection will be carried out using the “Maslach Burnout Inventory Questionnaire” and the “Sandín and Chorot Stress Coping Questionnaire”, instruments that are already validated and documented internationally. Statistical analysis will be processed using Excel and SPSS v.26, applying descriptive statistics and inferential tests such as chi-square. Results: it is expected to obtain empirical, quantitative, and contextualized evidence on how the level of work-related stress is related to the coping strategies used by nurses.
