description La investigación se realizó con un enfoque cuantitativo, su diseño es no experimental, descriptivo y de corte transversal, contando con una población de 90 familiares de los pacientes hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Regional del Callao, quienes reunieron los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos fue el cuestionario tipo Escala de Likert que está comprendido por 10 ítems agrupados en 5 dimensiones. Resultados: se indican que los familiares de los pacientes de UCI se encuentran satisfechos con un 76,7%, en cuanto a la dimensión información están poco satisfechos con un 56,7%, según dimensión calidez humana y confort están satisfechos con 47,7%, en la dimensión capacidad técnica y científica también se encuentran satisfechos con un 78,89%, en cuanto a la oportunidad de prestación de servicios manifiestan encontrarse satisfechos con un 78,89%, y la Imagen de la labor de enfermería solo cuenta con un 51,11% sobre los cuidados que brinda la enfermera en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Conclusiones: en cuanto al grado de satisfacción familiar frente al cuidado que brinda enfermería al paciente en UCI, se determinó estar satisfecho, seguido de muy satisfecho y poco satisfecho.
