description Objetivo establecer el grado en que las trabajadoras de enfermería del departamento hospitalario en una clínica privada de San Juan de Lurigancho aplican la lista de verificación de cirugía segura durante el año 2024. Materiales y métodos: la investigación se orienta hacia un enfoque cuantitativo, adoptando un diseño no experimental, explicativo y de tipo longitudinal. El grupo de estudio se compone de 22 enfermeras del servicio especializado con experiencia en cirugía y formación en protección del enfermo. Como herramienta, se emplea la Lista de Verificación de Cirugía Segura de la OMS, modificada para valorar la ejecución de tres etapas: previo a la introducción anestésica preliminar, previo a la incisión y previo a la salida del individuo del quirófano. Resultados: Los resultados se mostrarán en cuadros y diagramas estadísticos, especificando el valor de realización por etapa y el nivel global de uso de la serie. Conclusiones: la investigación aportará pruebas objetivas acerca de la aplicación de la lista de comprobación, resaltando su influencia en la disminución de errores y problemas quirúrgicos.

The study group is composed of 22 specialized nurses from the service with experience in surgery and training in patient protection. The tool used is the WHO Safe Surgery Checklist, modified to assess the execution of three stages: prior to the preliminary anesthetic administration, prior to the incision, and prior to the patient leaving the operating room. Results: the results will be presented in tables and statistical diagrams, specifying the completion rate by stage and the overall level of use of the series.
